About The Job

Inxeption is looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Product Marketing Director to join our team. This is a new role for an experienced energy marketing professional who wants to accelerate their career with our fast-growing team and category-defining products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead inbound and outbound product marketing for the Inxeption Energy marketplace, including the development of positioning, messaging and revenue-driving go-to-market campaigns
  • Conceptualize, develop and launch compelling sales enablement assets that support our territory reps, in coordination with our creative team
  • Partner with Marketing channel owners to build awareness and consideration for our Energy products across paid media, social media, the Inxeption website, and through event promotion
  • Establish KPIs and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns against these KPIs in partnership with our analytics team
  • Identify and analyze our competitors and recommend how we can differentiate our business to drive lead conversion and increase existing customer retention
  • Lead co-marketing efforts with our manufacturer partners
  • Create collaborative partnerships with cross-functional decision-makers, including C-suite executives, Sales, Product, and Marketing leadership–to get internal buy-in and effectively execute our communications strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other relevant field
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing or a combination of product and digital marketing, showing progression of ownership and scope at or above a Director level
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant renewable energy field (understanding of solar components a plus)
  • Deep expertise of the marketing funnel, understanding of how to drive top and mid-funnel marketing strategy and how to convert digital visitors into paying customers through marketing and sales coordinated motions
  • Superior communication skills, with a high degree of aptitude for clear, concise communications that meet the audience’s needs
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, from varying areas of expertise, to drive consensus
  • Some travel is required for energy events and for internal collaboration
  • Preference for candidates in Chicago, Atlanta or Louisville, but will consider highly qualified remote (US only) candidates
