Sales Operations & Proposal Specialist / Renewable Energy


This is a Full-time position in Boulder, CO posted January 19, 2022.

We are seeking a Sales Ops & Proposal Specialist to help create proposals and drive business development activities for commercial solar photovoltaic systems.
You Are:

You Will:
Work within a distributed renewable energy project sales and business development team to develop customer proposals in response to opportunities brought in by sales professionals
Compose, organize and edit customer proposals for renewable energy development projects
Assist with supporting information and associated editing of property leases, power purchase and other offtake agreements, and EPC agreements
Enter and update leads/opportunities via our proprietary Customer Relationship Management platform utilizing good data management principles.
Participate in the entire solar sales and development process—from prospecting and creating mail campaigns, to initial project feasibility analysis to the development of preliminary designs and proposals, to proposal writing and the drafting of responses to municipal RFPs, to support for customer negotiations and documentation, and to assembling the necessary information to effect a handoff to pre-construction for interconnection, permitting, and design
Work closely with internal and external sales teams, under the direct supervision of the Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with other business teams
Manage multiple existing projects during the sales and initial project development cycle
Be responsible for entering and updating leads/opportunities via our proprietary Customer Relationship Management platform
Take ownership of everything you work on and be responsible for the thoroughness and quality of everything you create
Collaborate closely with the team to help identify and suggest improvements to our business processes and best practices

What You Bring to the Team:
College degree or business development experience acquired through a position where you achieved a high level of proficiency with your writing and analytical skills
Strong interest in our economy’s transition to clean, renewable energy
2+ years of experience in a professional office environment preferred
2+ years of renewable energy industry experience preferred
Customer Relationship Management (CRM),, knowledge and experience preferred
Strong writing, editing, analytical, organizational and research skills
Impeccable attention to detail and delivery of high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working on multiple projects while prioritizing effectively, managing competing expectations, and meeting deadlines

Target Comp Range:
$60,000 to $80,000 base salary depending on experience and location
