ProLift is seeking to add a Focus Market Sales Representative to grow our services and participation in the renewable energy, battery storage and blockchain markets.

Key responsibilities include:
Research and assess the renewable energy, battery storage and blockchain markets and their potential contribution to company earnings.

Develop effective strategies for each segment and target accounts through independent effort and in cooperation with branch and corporate resources.

Drive growth through direct sales activity, branch sales assistance and creative marketing.  Identify market needs and lead the development of new company services.  Develop an understanding of target account structure and organization with focus on identifying key personnel within the Decision-Making Unit.  Conduct discovery meetings and presentations at all levels within the account.

Establish relationships focused on influencing decisions to award to ProLift.  Create and organize the account and contact records in our CRM (IFS).

Identify all opportunities within the account for ProLift work and drive our estimating and proposal strategy.

Estimate project costs, develop sound pricing strategies, and write proposals that communicate the value of our solution and manage risks.

Conduct annual account reviews with the key contacts to assess our performance, and to identify new opportunities.

Communicate regularly with the ProLift Sales & Marketing team and provide updates on account progress, opportunities, and strategy.

Close (direct and assist) a minimum of $5M in job value annually.  Participate in project handoff meetings with Operations personnel to ensure complete understanding of scope, estimate, contractual obligations, and risk of jobs prior to execution.  Accountable to the SVP of Sales and Marketing with direct reporting responsibility to the assigned Market Manager or VP of Sales.

Self-motivated sales professional with prospecting profile.  Excellent communicator.

Business acumen and problem-solving skills.

Mechanically inclined.

Emotionally intelligent.

Willing to travel extensively.

Proven track record of successful business development in rigging, construction or engineered product industries.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn CRM.

Bachelor’s degree is required.

Engineering, business, or STEM-related preferred.

Five to ten years of experience in related field preferred.
